Are you forgetting things more than you used to?
Have you noticed your midline getting soft or rounder?
Maybe you’re more snappy these days when you’re interrupted?

It could be related to perimenopause, which can affect women in multitudes of ways.

Essentially, in the lead up to menopause, your body begins to transition into a new hormonal rhythm. And these shifts can affect mood, memory, metabolism, energy, sleep and more. And it can last for years.
When these shifts occur in midlife, we are generally already busy with multiple responsibilities in the home, at work and as potential carers for others. That’s when we find we need to start to care for ourselves too.
Otherwise, burnout can take hold and we find we are no longer able to keep up.
If this is happening to you, consider putting on your oxygen mask and learn about how to address Burnout in Perimenopause.
