Feeling Burnt Out?

What is Burnout?

If you're here, chances are you're feeling off; tired, flat, just not quite yourself.

But how do you know if it's really burnout, or just a rough few weeks?

Burnout is more than just tiredness. It’s the gradual erosion of your energy, motivation, and ability to cope - physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Statistics for burnout are higher in Australia than globally – 61% vs 48%.

Burnout can happen to anyone, but it’s especially common for people who are perpetually stressed - professionals, parents, those navigating life transitions, or anyone driven by perfectionism.

We are all struggling with escalating world events, domestic stress and the impact on our daily lives. I know that I was feeling the pinch and looking for a better way to do things. I kept talking about ‘going on a retreat’ and all the relaxation options available there.

If you are looking for a life change, consider exploring the Rescue Kit or a mini module. These have been developed with evidence-based interventions to help you make choices for your recovery.

The OLBI Assessment

The World Health Organisation (WHO) recognises burnout as a syndrome caused by chronic work stress that hasn’t been successfully managed.

The OLBI was developed as a measure of burnout, containing statements that cover burnout domains.

While there are many tools available, the OLBI has been extensively used in research to measure job and academic burnout.

Enter your details to access the OLBI assessment to find out your level of burnout.
