Trauma
Controversial opinion ahead: Trauma doesn’t have to come from a major life-threatening event to be valid.
Here’s why: Trauma can take many forms, and everyday experiences—like emotional neglect, bullying, or unresolved conflict—can leave deep and lasting marks on your mental health. It’s not just about the big, dramatic events we hear about, but the small, constant pressures that can be just as damaging.
This is why I work with people to process their trauma, no matter how it started. Everyone’s experience is unique, and healing doesn’t have a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
If you need some support to process your trauma, start by talking to your doctor. If you’re ready to go further, you can get a referral to work with me.
